Q: What types of wood do you use?

A: I have used Walnut, Hard Maple, African Mahogany, Quartersawn White Oak, Ash, Hickory, and Cherry.

Q: What kind of glue do you use and why?

A: Normally I would use Titebond for most projects, and Titebond II for any projects that may come in contact with food.

Q: How do you finish your cutting and cheese boards?

A: I usually finish those items with 2-3 coats of mineral oil, which is a common foodsafe finish. Then I would ask that the customer follow the seasoning and care instructions included with their item.

Q: How are your pens and pencils finished?

A: I finish my pens and pencils with a mixture of boiled linseed oil, denatured alcohol, and shellac, for a nice satin finish.
Q:  Is there more information on the stainless steel part of your bottle stoppers?

A: These stoppers are made of solid 304 FDA kitchen grade stainless steel, there are 3 different size FDA grade nitrile o-rings that will seal various size bottles tightly.
